In case some of you are around the university next week, I would like to draw your attention to two seminars given by Camille Risi and Kei Yoshimura, on 29 July on stale water isotope (SWI) modeling. The two guests will visit us for one week, except the Monday seminar, there will be other group discussions from Tuesday to Friday. The discussions will be on application of SWI modeling in paleoclimate, comparison between the modeled and satellite measured SWI, as well as the progress in SWI model inter-comparison project. You are warmly welcome to attend any of these activities. Seminars on 29 July, Monday 9:30-10:30 Constraining future precipitation changes in South America using paleoclimate archives: CMIP5 and isotopic modeling By Dr. Camille Risi, Laboratoire de M?t?orologie Dynamique (LMD), Paris, France 10.30-11.30 Potential of data assimilation of vapor isotope By Dr. kei Yoshimura, University of Tokyo, Japan Place: room T40 in Geoscience building Wish you all have a great summer!
