The University of Eastern Finland has opened a call for 28 PhD student positions in the Faculty of Science and Forestry. One of the Top-level strategic profiling areas of The University of Eastern Finland is Environmental change and sufficiency of natural resources. Aerosol Physics research group at the Department of Applied Physics, which has a leading role in this strategic area, is looking for potential candidates for the PhD positions.

Suitable candidates should have background in physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, meteorology, environmental science, computational sciences or in other relevant field.

Haluatko näköalapaikan Ilmaston ja ilmakehän tutkimukseen?
Itä-Suomen yliopisto hakee 28 nuorta tutkijaa jatko-opiskelijoiksi Luonnontieteiden ja Metsätieteiden tiedekuntaan. Yksi yliopiston keskeisistä strategian painopisteistä on Ympäristön muutos ja luonnonvarojen riittävyys. Aerosolifysiikan tutkimusryhmä on yksi keskeisiä ryhmiä tällä painopistealueella ja hakee nyt potentiaalisia kandidaatteja jatko-opiskelijan paikoille Sovelletun fysiikan laitokselle.

Hakijoilla tulee olla maisterin tai diplomi-insinöörin fysiikasta, kemiasta, matematiikasta, tilastotieteestä, meteorologiasta, ympäristötieteestä, tietojenkäsittelystä tai muulta soveltuvalta alalta.
