Hej alla,

I'm very happy to announce the first event of the new *PhD seminar 
"curious"* followed by the monthly *PhD Pub hosted by Zoologi*!

*curious* is an initiative by PhD students for PhD students.

*Background*: curious /ˈkjʊərɪəs/ from Latin curiosus ‘careful’, from 
cura ‘care’, eager to know or learn something.
*Aim*: Foster interdepartmental and interdisciplinary communication at 
the Science Faculty of Stockholm University at the PhD level.
*Method*: PhD students give talks about their research in an informal 
environment for an academic audience.
*Results*: Knowledge dissemination and creation of opportunities for 
scientific cooperation.

Schedule:

*Fr, March 22, 2019*, Vivi-Täckholmsalen Q211 (for map see posters attached)

*16.00* Emily Freeland "From Planning to Presenting: How to Minimize the 
Number of People Sleeping During Your Science Talk"
