Dear all,
Welcome to our next seminar on research ethics: *Authorship norms,
borderline plagiarism & publication ethics.*
In this seminar, issues such as questionable authorship norms,
plagiarism, self-plagiarism and other ethical grey areas in academic
publishing will be discussed. Differences between research disciplines
will be highlighted, as well as discrepancies between guidelines and
culture in research publishing.
*Gert Helgesson*, professor in medical ethics and teacher in e.g.
research ethics at Karolinska Institutet, will give a talk followed by
time for discussion and questions. Gert Helgesson has written
extensively on authorship issues and related topics. The seminar will be
held in English.
You are most welcome, and please pass this invitation forward to
colleagues who may be interested in participating. A seminar poster is
attached to this email.
