[Drand] Munskydd i studentlabb/protective masks in student labs

Hej,

Vi har ändrad policy angående munskydd i övninglabb för studenter. Det 
finns nu munskydd att tillgå i båda labblokaler i hus 1 samt i 
optiklabben på plan 2 (placerade i G2:0015). Instruktioner finns längre 
ner i mailet och de finns även där munskydden finns. Viktigt att de 
följs. Om de tar slut kontakta i första hand Petra Björk, 
petra.bjork at fysik.su.se och sedan mig.

Det viktiga är fortfarande att studenter inte kommer in om de känner 
symptom och att det därför skall finns uppsamlingstillfälle så att de 
kan göra labbarna vid ett annat tillfälle om det behövs. Försök att de 
arbetar enskilt och max i par. Om de jobbar i par skall det vara möjligt 
att förflytta sig och hålla avstånd. Detta kan vara svårt att 
upprätthålla under hela laborationen och därför rekommenderar vi att 
både assistenter och studenter använder munskydd.

Hi,

We have changed policy regarding protective masks in the student labs. 
There are protective masks available in both labs in House 1 and in the 
optics labs on the second floor in Albanova (in G2:0015). See 
instruction in the end of this email. It is important that they are 
followed. If you run out of masks, please first contact Petra Björk, 
petra.bjork at fysik.su.se, and then me if necessary.

The most important is still that students with symptoms stay at home and 
that an extra lab is scheduled if they have to stay at home. The best is 
if students work individually, but maximum in pairs. If they work in 
pairs it should be possible to keep distance. This can be difficult to 
maintain all the time and therefore we recommend that both students and 
teaching assistant wear protective masks.

Instruction: use of face mask

The face masks handed out by Fysikum are ‘Disposable Mask, Type IIR’. 
The masks are a single use device and must not be re-used.

1. Wash your hands with soap and water, alternatively use hand 
sanitizer, before handling the mask.

2. The mask must be used correctly. The colored side outwards, the white 
side inwards. Attach the bands behind the ears. Adjust the metal wire to 
the shape of the nose. Stretch the mask to cover the nose, mouth and chin.

3. Remove the mask by pulling on the bands, do not touch the mask itself.

4. Immediately dispose the used mask in designated plastic bags, by 
threading the bag over the mask, without touching the mask itself with 
your hands. Tie the bag together and throw the bag in an ordinary waste 
bin. Used masks must not be placed on any surfaces (tables, benches etc).

5. Wash your hands with soap and water, alternatively use hand 
sanitizer, after handling the used mask.
