[Drand] Reviderat beslut om höstens undervisning /Revised descition regarding teaching in the autumn

Hej lärare och assistenter på fysikum,


Som ni kanske har hört fattade rektor beslut om att universitet kan gradvis återgå till undervisning och examination på campus. All undervisning och examination ska följa myndigheternas regler och rekommendationer. Med anledning av detta besked har vi nu beslutat följande angående undervisning och examination på Fysikum:


1. Omtentor i juni ges på distans enligt tidigare planering.

2. Omtentor i augusti ges med fördel på distans (samma format som ordinarie tentamen). Om det är motiverat kan omtentan ges på campus. Examinator ska meddela studenterna (och studieadministrationen) senast 2021-06-18 och information läggs ut i tentamensschemat.

3. Upprop planeras att genomföras delvis på distans och delvis på campus. Samling på campus sker mindre grupper.

4. För kurser som ges under första halvan av höstterminen sker undervisning delvis på distans och delvis på campus. Campusundervisning prioriteras för kurser som vänder sig till studenter som påbörjar sin utbildning. Undervisning för stora grupper på campus undviks under början av terminen (regler för allmänna sammankomster är vägledande). Praktiska moment (t.ex. laborationer) och examination ges på campus om inte fullgoda alternativ på distans kan erbjudas. Undervisning på campus ordnas med hänsyn till Folkhälsomyndighetens riktlinjer.
Information om upplägg av undervisning på respektive kurs anges på kursens sida i digitala utbildningskatalogen under rubriken ”Undervisning sommaren/hösten 2021” senast 2021-06-18.

5. Kurser som ges andra halvan av terminen planerar vi gå helt på campus, med förbehållet att beslutet ses över vid terminsstarten. Detta ger två månaders framförhållning, samtidigt som vi har möjlighet att se hur läget utvecklar sig till hösten.

Om nya beslut kommer från Regeringen eller rektor så kan dessa riktlinjer komma att uppdateras.


Jag och Magnus kommer nu återigen kontakta alla kursansvariga lärare för kurser som går under första halvan av höstterminen. Vi kommer vilja diskutera och planera formatet för er kurs.

Hi teachers and assistants at Fysikum,


As you might have heard, the president of the university has decided that we can gradually return to teaching and examination on campus. The teaching and examination must follow the rules and recommendations from authorities. We have therefore decided that the following applies for teaching and examination at Fysikum:


1. Re-exams in June are given remotely as planned.


2. For re-exams in August, it is advantageous to give them remotely (using same format as the regular exam). If it is justified, the re-exam can be given on campus. The examiner has to notify the students (and the study administration) no later than 2021-06-18 and the information about the format of the exam will be available in the exam schedule.


3 Roll-calls and introductory meetings for new students are planned to be carried out partly remotely and partly on campus. Gatherings on campus are planned in smaller groups.


4  44. For courses given during the first half of the autumn semester, teaching takes place partly remotely and partly on campus. Campus based teaching is prioritized for courses aimed at students beginning their education. Teaching for large groups on campus is avoided during the beginning of the semester (rules for general gatherings are indicative). Practical elements (e.g. laboratory work) and examination are given on campus unless adequate alternatives remotely can be offered. Teaching on campus is arranged with regard to the Swedish Public Health Agency's guidelines

Information about the format of teaching on each course is stated on the course page in the digital course catalog under the heading "Teaching summer / autumn 2021" no later than 2021-06-18.



5.      5. For courses given in the second half of the semester, we plan to go completely on campus, with the proviso that the decision is reviewed at the start of the semester. This gives two months in advance, at the same time as we have the opportunity to see how the situation develops in the autumn.


If new decisions come from the Government or the president of the university, these guidelines may be updated.


I and Magnus will now contact all teachers for courses given during the first half of the autumn to discuss and plan the format of your course.
