Dear all!



The seminar series on Gender, Gender Equality and the Natural Sciences starts on September 9 with a lecture and workshop on Gender, identity and culture in physics with professor Anna Danielsson at the department of Science Education, Stockholm University.



This talk will give an introduction to gender issues in physics, with a particular focus on insights gained from understanding the discipline of physics as a culture. The talk will also introduce contemporary gender theory and give examples from physics education research that explore the teaching and learning of physics from gender perspectives. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion!
