[Drand] Course - Research Ethics 2024 - Extended deadline April 5

To PhD students at the Department of Astronomy, Mathematics, 
Meteorology(MISU) and Physics (Fysikum):

*Invitation to the course "Ethics in Research".*

It is mandatory for all PhD students at Stockholm University to have a 
proper education in and knowledge of ethics in research. For PhD 
students at the departments listed above it is thus mandatory to take 
part in the course "Ethics in research" (Forskningsetik och vetenskaplig 
redlighet). The course is planned to be given once a year. *Next 
opportunity is in April this Spring, with a course start on April 17*, 
according to the attached schedule (the lectures are fixed in time, and 
mandatory, but as you see most of the rest of the schedule will be 
announced later).

The course comprises a set of lectures given by Professor Christina 
Moberg, KTH, followed by group discussions and presentations on specific 
topics, lead by conveners from the four departments. English will be 
used throughout. A general information about the course is attached. 
More details will be distributed prior to the course start.

*Extended deadline for application is Friday, April 5.* Please give 
name, department and the date for admission to graduate studies. Also, 
even if you applied last time and could not join due to over-booking, 
please apply again and inform us about this.  For PhD students at 
Fysikum - this is part of the Introduction course - but you have to 
apply (as described above) in order to follow the ethics part of the 
course now.

The number of participants is restricted to around 50. If the course is 
overbooked, priority will be given to those who apply first (or applied 
last time).
