<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On February 4th, there will be a two-hour workshop about
<b>peer observations in teaching</b> (auskultationer in Swedish), meaning</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span><font size="3">teachers teaming up in pairs or small groups to attend each other's lectures, as a way to spur new ideas, </font><font size="3">support
each other as teachers, and improve </font><span style="font-size: 12pt;">pedagogically</span><font size="3">. </font><span style="font-size: 12pt;">It is generally perceived as a great way to develop one's own and others' teaching in a "safe and relaxed"
setting, and we encourage both experienced and new teachers to sign up for the workshop and to take part in peer observations.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The workshop will be led by Vendela Blomström and Jeanna Wennerberg (CeUL), and</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> serves as an
<b>introduction and </b><b>kick-off for peer observations to take place during 2025</b>. It is </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">open to both PhD students and faculty who teach during 2025, and</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> Fysikum will grant compensation
in the form of teaching hours to a limited number of PhD students who participate in the workshop and peer observations. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You may choose which colleague(s) to team up with, or we can assist you in finding a suitable team.</span></p>
