[SocBiN] Senior Lecturer/Associate professor of Bioinformatics

Applications are invited for a permanent position as Senior Lecturer of bioinformatics.?

The position includes teaching in bioinformatics at the basic and advanced level and research in the field of bioinformatics. Teaching includes course management, educational development, theoretical and practical teaching and examination. One of the most important tasks for the senior lecturer will be to teach at the Masters and PhD Bioinformatics courses. ?
The Senior Lecturer will also contribute to the development of the subject bioinformatics. This includes own research in bioinformatics in areas relevant to the VH-faculty and also SLU, and supervision of post graduate students.?

Assignments and administrative work at departmental and faculty level will be included. The senior lecturer will also be involved in SLU's Bioinformatics Infrastructure (SLUBI).
