A fully funded bioinformatics PhD position is available at the Department of Biosciences, University of Oslo, Norway.

The project aims at unraveling new links between 3D genome reorganization and cancer development and progression. Specifically, the successful candidate will develop new computational tools to study 3D genome organization at unforeseen resolution and accuracy. Further, the candidate will analyze already generated in-house datasets from Hi-C, RNA-seq and related high-throughput genomics experiments to shed new light on how the 3D genome is altered and reorganized in cancer cells.

Relevant skills: Bioinformatics, high-throughput sequencing analyses, programming (e.g. Python, C++)
Salary offered:  NOK 491 200 – 534 400 per year
