[SocBiN] Call for new team leaders in computational sciences for biology/medicine (Paris, France)

The Paris Brain Institute (ICM - [ https://institutducerveau-icm.org/en/ | https://institutducerveau-icm.org/en/ ] ) is launching a call to recruit up to 3 team leaders at the starting, junior or mid-career levels and notably working in any area of computational methods for neuroscience and neurological disorders or theoretical neuroscience (including but not limited to computational systems biology, bioinformatics, modeling of neural circuits, data science, machine learning, signal processing...). 



Note that we welcome applications of researchers who have not previously worked on applications to neuroscience but who have a strong background in any of the areas of computational sciences mentioned above and who will commit to work on neuroscience applications when they join the institute. 



Partnership with Inria ( [ http://www.inria.fr/ | www.inria.fr ] ), the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology, will provide opportunities to create a joint research team. 



We welcome applications from talented individuals with the ambition to establish an internationally competitive research group. 



The new team leaders will benefit from a competitive start-up package, recurrent core funding and access to state of the art core facilities.

Expression of interest must include a short CV, a complete list of publications highlighting up to five significant papers, and a brief description of achievements and future research (2 pages). Expression of interest must be sent by November 15th, 2021 to: scientific.affairs at icm-institute.org 



Short-listed applicants will be invited to submit a full application proposal by February 15th, 2022.
