Dear colleagues,

We currently have two open positions at University of Copenhagen and wanted to kindly ask you to either forward the below job descriptions to interested people or advice on candidates that might be suitable for the positions. Deadline for applications is 6th of March.

PhD fellowship in machine learning for transcriptional regulation
We are seeking an excellent candidate with a strong interest in transcriptional regulation and a desire to work on an interdisciplinary project bridging machine learning and genomics. The project aims to establish transfer learning in regulatory genomics and develop interpretable deep learning models to infer 1) the DNA sequence grammar of gene regulatory elements, and 2) enhancer-promoter communication. More information can be found at https://jobrxiv.org/job/university-of-copenhagen-27778-phd-fellowship-in-machine-learning-for-transcriptional-regulation/

Postdoc in chromatin topology of enhancer-gene communication
We are trying to get an excellent postdoc candidate for a straight forward, but equally promising project, where follow-up projects are already in the pipeline. The project relies heavily on establishing CRISPR systems and optimisation of NGS library preparation. More information can be found at https://jobrxiv.org/job/university-of-copenhagen-27778-postdoc-in-chromatin-topology-of-enhancer-gene-communication-2/

Best wishes,
Robin Andersson
