<div>We would like to remind you to register to the Swedish Bioinformatics Workshop that will take place October 23-24 at Wallenberg Conference Centre in Gothenburg. The seats are limited to 100 participants and we hope to fill all of them to get to include
as much as possible about what is going on in the Bioinformatics field in Sweden today! The registration deadline is due the 1st of October and we also want to announce that we are extending the abstract deadline until the 15th of September. We strongly encourage
all registrants to submit abstracts as this is a excellent opportunity to present and discuss your results with peers in the same field.</div>

<div>Swedish Bioinformatics Workshop is arranged every year by different universities in Sweden to bring together PhD students and Post Docs that are working in different parts of the Bioinformatics field. This year it is arranged the 23-24th of October in
Gothenburg by the joint University of Gothenburg and Chalmers' "Gothenburg Bioinformatics Group for PhD students", GoBiG. Registration is free of charge for all PhD students and PostDocs.</div>

<div>We are proud to announce three Keynote speakers, Mick Watson from the Roslin Institute, Dawn Field from Oxford University, and Joakim Lundeberg from KTH/Science for Life Lab, Stockholm, working in different parts of the field. There will also be oral presentations
and a poster session for participants to share and discuss their projects and results. This year the program also contains a number of workshop sessions where invited moderators will present hands-on problems that will be used as starting points for discussions
on new approaches to these problems. The workshop topics and keynote titles will be announced on the homepage shortly. </div>
