<div class="">The Swedish Biodiversity Data Infrastructure (SBDI) is a national research infrastructure supported by the Swedish Research Council and a consortium of eleven Swedish universities and government organizations. It is formed by the merger of the

 Swedish LifeWatch and Biodiversity Atlas Sweden infrastructures (see <a href="https://biodiversitydata.se/" class="">https://biodiversitydata.se</a>), and it hosts the Swedish node of the international GBIF infrastructure (<a href="https://gbif.org/" class="">https://gbif.org</a>).

 The development of the SBDI technical platform is based to a large extent on international collaboration around state-of-the-art open-source software.
