like to apply for a Starting Grant (Etableringsbidrag) from the Swedish
Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet; VR), with DBB as host department.
These are non-tenure track positions in our department and employment is
matched to the duration of the grant. Decisions on whether or not the
Dept will support an application are made by our local Recruitment
Committee, who evaluate the potential for securing funding and the
suitability of the proposed research for DBB.</p>
<p>Please prepare a document (compiled in a single pdf) which includes:<br>
<br>
• Brief research plan (max 2 p; i.e. a full VR research plan should not be included)<br>
• CV (max 2 p)<br>
• Publication list<br>
• A text outlining why DBB offers an appropriate environment for your
planned research (e.g. what new expertise and techniques you bring,
synergies with existing research groups, availability of necessary
infrastructure etc; max 1 p)</p>
