The Bolin Centre is a multi-disciplinary consortium of over 350 scientists in Sweden that conducts research and graduate education related to the Earth´s climate.

New article in Nature Communications
Based on the largest ever volunteer effort by the international tree-ring community, including 67 scholars from 57 institutes around the world, the global extent and seasonal timing of the rapid increase in atmospheric 14C concentrations from the two largest cosmogenic events in 774 and 993 CE is presented for the first time ever. Gordon Goodman Memorial Lecture 2018
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Stockholm University and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) are proud to present the Gordon Goodman Memorial Lecture 2018 to be delivered on 25 September by Camille Parmesan. Camille is a Professor at School of Biological Sciences at Plymouth University in Plymouth, UK and has been ranked the second most highly cited author in the field of climate change for the decade 1999-2009 by Thomson Reuters “Essential Science Indicators”. She is also a member of the Bolin Centre External Scientific Advisory Group (https://bolin.su.se/index.php/external-science-advisory-group) .
