The Bolin Centre is a multi-disciplinary consortium of over 350 scientists in Sweden that conducts research and graduate education related to the Earth´s climate.
Bert Bolin Cimate Lecture -
Call for Nominations
Since 2008, the Bert Bolin Lecture on Climate Research is given annually to commemorate professor Bert Bolin and his pioneering climate research. The speaker is selected by the Faculty of Science among international scientists within climate research. Eligible to nominate are staff at Stockholm University and staff connected to the Bolin Centre via SMHI or KTH.
Deadline for nomination: October 15

Bert Bolin hade sitt fritidshus på Öland och de lokala entusiasterna inom Bolinledens vänner ville hedra honom genom att döpa leden efter honom.
In Swedish | Det går bra för det internationella projektet ASIAQ, the Arctic Science Integration Quest, som leds av Nina Kirchner (co-Director Bolincentret och anställd på NG): "Jag har bra stöd från min prefekt och institution och det är viktigt för att man ska lyckas. Jag har också ett projektteam med starka och engagerade personer, så att inte allt ansvar ligger på mina axlar. Att hitta bra människor som drar åt samma håll rekommenderas till alla projektledare".
