[Drand] ISP and lic status

Dear supervisors and PhD students,

the department board decided yesterday that I should share the status 
regarding individual study plans (ISP) and the status regarding 
licentiate seminars with all of you.

In the attached document you will find a table with this information for 
all PhD students with some activity during 2015. Note that this is based 
on the information that I had on December 17th. If you note some 
mistakes here, please inform me.

Let me try to explain the content:

In column 5, "months of full-time PhD studies", you find the effective 
number of study months from the starting date. Teaching is accounted 
for. However, e.g. sick-leaves are not taken into account here. As you 
know, a complete PhD in Sweden corresponds to 4 years or 48 months of 
full-time studies.

In column 6, the status of licentiate seminars is given. The licentiate 
seminar is used as the 50% check of the PhD studies, i.e. it should be 
done at around two years of full-time studies. "LATE" means that two 
years have passed since the start, without a licentiate seminar.

In column 7 and 8, the ISP status is given. A "LATE" in column 8 means 
that one year has passed since the latest ISP was done, or that 3 months 
have passed since the starting date.

_Actions to be taken_

Lic-seminars: For students with a "LATE" mark I would like the 
corresponding supervisor to explain the situation to me (via email is OK 
as a start).

ISP: With a "LATE" mark, hopefully the ISP is well under way. If not - 
as a supervisor you have to start with it now. Note that according to 
the regulations it has to be updated every 12 months and its update is a 
prerequisite for a prolonged employment. Note also that some ISPs will 
pass the deadline very soon.
