Title: Core-collapse Supernovae at the Low-mass End and their Pre-SN Outburst
Abstract: Low-mass massive stars that undergo core-collapse supernovae (CCSN) offer valuable insights into both stellar evolution and supernova theory, providing a unique window into the birth conditions of the lowest-mass neutron stars. I will present results from CCSN simulations using a novel set of low-mass progenitors evolved with the FRANEC code. Together with our previous study on electron-capture supernovae, this work enhances our understanding of the low-mass end of the supernova landscape. Additionally, I will show some results on the exploration of possible pre-SN outbursts in these low-mass progenitors.
