Subject: [ensembl-announce] Jobs @ Ensembl

There are three open positions in the EBI side
of Ensembl, partly due to staff turnover
and partly due to new funding.

The three positions are in:

   Epigenomics/functional data manipulation

   Comparative Genomics

   "Core" Ensembl schema/software development

Ensembl is a vibrant, open team of bioinformaticians
from a variety of backgrounds - from strong IT/Computer
Science developers through to molecular biologists
with self-taught programming skills. In general it is
an excellent environment to use either IT skills and
pick up biology, or to strengthen IT/programming skills
for biologists who are converting to bioinformatics.

There are specific skills listed in each of the positions
below; if you or one of your colleagues are interested in
these positions then please apply; informal inquiries can
be sent to myself (birney at ebi.ac.uk), but we must have
a formal application (instructions on the web sites below)
as well for you to be considered. Please also pass
this email onto people who might be interested in the
position.

Further details is on the EMBL job site (EBI is part
of EMBL):
