Hi,

A number of Ph.D. positions are available in Molecular and Cellular
Life Sciences at University of Wyoming (see www.uwyo.edu/mcls for more
information, including a list of participating research groups). A Ph.D.
in MCLS at University of Wyoming typically takes about 5 years, but can
be faster for students who already have M.Sc. degrees. All positions
come with a guaranteed Ph.D. student stipend, which will support your
living costs in Wyoming. Laramie is 2 hours from Denver, Colorado in the
Rocky Mountains.
Candidates with expertise in bioinformatics or computational biology
are desired, but all candidates must have formal training in one of the
life sciences or in chemistry to be considered. There is no application
fee when applying. To be considered, please send your CV and a
statement of research/career interests to Ahrenhol at uwyo.edu. Please
also arrange to have official university transcripts and three letters
of recommendation sent by email or post to Vicki Ahrenholtz
(Ahrenhol at uwyo.edu). If you already have an M.Sc. degree, GRE scores
are not required.
If you have questions about this process, please email me at
liberles at uwyo.edu. I hope you will be interested in joining us at
University of Wyoming.
