About SBW 2009
The conference is open to everyone, but is mainly targeting PhD students and
post-docs within the areas of bioinformatics including for example
computational biology, evolution, genomics, metabolomics, metagenomics,
protein structure prediction, statistical modelling and systems biology.

The purpose of this annual conference is to provide an opportunity for
young, Sweden-based scientists in all the diverse disciplines of
bioinformatics to meet and exchange ideas during a few informal days of
science, progress, and fun. The scientific programme for the conference 2009
will consist of ten PhD student/postdoc presentations, talks by three
invited speakers, and a poster session.

Date: 12-13th March 2009
Place: Umeå University, Chemical Biology Center (KBC).
