InCoB2010(http://incob10.hgc.jp/):
The 9th International Conference on Bioinformatics InCoB 2010 to be
held at Waseda International Conference Center, Tokyo, Japan,
has seen the
* largest number of organisations associated with the conference
 CBI, IIMMS and JSBi
* largest number of papers and posters submitted (nearly 200)
* largest number of journal supplements to be published for the selected
papers
BMC Bioinformatics (3.78), BMC Genomics (3.93), Immunome Research (5.33),
IPSJ Transactions on Bioinformatics and Bioinformation, with impact factors
and indexed, all of which are undergoing rigorous review and modifications
of the manuscripts as we speak.
* highest number of downloads and citations of our previous conference
papers

It will host a range of notable keynote speakers and a range of interesting
research tracks, as well as the traditional training courses, and
of course, the Annual General Meeting of the Asia Pacific Bioinformatics
Network
which will be electing a new slate of office bearers for 2010-2012
(please send in your nominations to tinwee -at- bic.nus.edu.sg, the election
officer).

Paper authors will get a free membership to the International
Society for Computational Biology (ISCB), and those who register through
us can enjoy a 10% bulk registration discount for ISCB membership.
All registered conference participants will also become APBioNet members
automatically, and can enjoy 1 year free access to Wizfolio.com, the
online bibliographic management system.

Meanwhile, it is not too late to present something at InCoB 2010.

Call for late-breaking abstracts

We invite abstracts on peer-reviewed journal papers that have been accepted
for
publication or will be published on or after July 20, 2010 (please provide
us
email acceptance or online version). Prior to submission all abstract
authors
must confirm they have read, understand and agree to the abstract submission
rules and guidelines. The presenting/corresponding author confirms that each
co-author has been informed of the abstract submission and has agreed to all
information as it was submitted.

Late-breaking Abstract Template:
http://incob10.hgc.jp/publicity/Latebreaking_Abstract_Template.doc

Submission deadline: August 1st (midnight JST)

A small number of slots for poster and short oral presentation is available
and
will be allocated at the discretion of scientific Program Committee.
Decision criteria
are the impact of the work on the field, the likelihood that the study would
be of
interest to the InCoB audience and the relevance of the research to
bioinformatics
and application to biological and biomedical sciences. Presenters must
register for
InCoB2010 and duly settle registration fees.

Best regards,
Christian Schönbach and Kenta Nakai
(InCoB2010 PC Co-chairs)
