PhD position in Computational Science and Engineering with focus on
Mathematical Statistics

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD position in the Department
of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at Umeå University, Sweden. The
general aim of a graduate student position is to provide its holder with a
possibility to earn a PhD degree. The position is for 48 months of research.


The Ph.D. candidate will develop new strategies and tools for data
processing and statistical modeling of metabolomics data and will be part of
Computational Life Science Cluster (CLiC) at Umeå University which is an
ongoing effort to further stimulate and advance computer based modeling in
