[SocBiN] 5 Postdoctoral Fellows in bioinformatics in Dresden, Germany

The Chair of Bioinformatics at Biotechnological Center of TU Dresden
and the faculty of computer science is looking for

5 Postdoctoral Fellows in Bioinformatics

as part of a DFG and an EU financed project. The researcher will work
on computational drug repositioning using either protein structures,
networks, or text-mining and ontologies. They will work in close
collaboration with experimentalists focussing on pancreas cancer, who
will verify hypotheses.

Applicants are required to have a PhD, a very good spoken and written
English and a record of peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Terms: Salary TV-L E13 in accordance with the applicant's
qualifications and experience. The positions are initially limited to
one year with possibility to extend up to 6 years. The period of
employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act
(Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).
