NHGRI is increasing the number of program staff responsible for managing

extramural investigators, to research, development, and implementation of
novel bioinformatics ideas and technologies used in compiling, analyzing,

the goals of *Charting a course for genomic medicine from base pairs to
bedside <http://www.genome.gov/27543215>.* The new Program Directors will
work both with current staff in the Bioinformatics/Computational Biology
