A post-doctoral fellowship in bioinformatics is available at CIGENE, Department of Animal and Aquaculture Sciences, the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). The successful applicant will work within the national ELIXIR infrastructure project (www.bioinfo.no/elixir), and thereby become a member of a national network of bioinformaticans. Day to day work will be tightly integrated with the bioinformatics and genomics team at CIGENE, and will have a main focus on establishing and improving dissemination of data arising from the salmon genome sequencing project. The salmon genome is highly interesting, both from a biological and commercial point of view. Application deadline is May 11th , 2014.
