Do you know any recent PhD graduate that would like to win USD25,000 and a
publication in *Science*? Please forward this information to him/her!

The *Science* & SciLifeLab Prize for Young
Scientists<http://www.scilifelab.se/collaboration/science-scilifelab-prize-for-young-scientists/>
is
a new global prize, established in 2013, aimed at rewarding young
scientists at an early stage of their careers.

The topic of the entrant's thesis research must be in one of the following
categories:

   - Cell and Developmental Biology
   - Genomics and Proteomics
   - Environment
   - Translational Medicine

Application deadline is August 1st.

Each contestant writes a popular science essay about his or her thesis. The
grand prizewinner will receive a prize of USD25,000 and each of the three
category winners will receive USD3,000. The grand prize winning essay will
be published in *Science*.

*Please note that researchers working at SciLifeLab are not allowed to
