A PhD position in bioinformatics is available at Norwegian University of

The position is linked to the project “MALDI imaging for the virtual 
prostate”. The project is using MALDI imaging to map metabolites in 
tissue slices from prostate cancer tissue, and tries to link metabolic 
profiles to gene expression and other relevant properties. An important 
goal is to identify new biomarkers for prostate cancer and correlate 
these with diagnosis and outcome. We seek a talented, enthusiastic and 
creative candidate in bioinformatics, with a strong commitment to research.
