[SocBiN] PhD fellowships in bioinformatics available - tools for metagenomics

Dear all


Would you like to work with development of tools for metagenomics, including QIIME, VSEARCH and Swarm? PhD fellowships are now available at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway. One of the proposed projects is titled "Development, integration and benchmarking of algorithms and tools for analyzing large scale microbiome datasets" and is a collaboration between the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and the University of Oslo (UiO). Primary advisors are Rob Knight and Torbjørn Rognes. Please submit your application according to the procedure and indicate project UiO_8 as one of your selected projects.

Deadline for applications: August 3rd, 2015 at 17.00 CEST.
