Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the *First NGP-NET SYMPOSIUM ON NON-GLOBULAR
PROTEINS* to be held in Porto, Portugal, from* October* *6th to October
9th, 2015*. * Deadlines for registration and abstract submission have been
extended to September 14th, 2015.*

The symposium, integrated in the COST action BM1405 "Non-globular proteins
- from sequence to function, structure and application in molecular
physiopathology logy (NGP-NET)" will focus on the unique properties of
non-globular proteins (NGPs). By bringing together top experts in the field
of NGPs, different aspects of this multifaceted topic will covered,
including classification, intrinsic disorder, repeats and protein
aggregation, while providing an overview of the role of NGPs in health and
disease.

The program includes an Early Career Researcher Forum where young
investigators will have the opportunity meet academic and industry experts
in the field of non-globular proteins, present their research work and
discuss career development opportunities.

The symposium will take place at AtmosferaM in Porto, Portugal. Please
