Bioinformatics Scientist 

A two-year position as a bioinformatics scientist is available in the Fish Nutrition research program. The position will be part of a project financed by the Norwegian Research Council. The project aims at understanding how nutrients and environmental contaminants affect epigenetic mechanisms in fish and mammals. The bioinformatics scientist will focus on two main areas; 1. how methylmercury from maternal intake of seafood affects children; and 2. how a number of contaminants relevant for seafood safety affect epigenetic mechanisms in fish.
