ELIXIR Norway
ELIXIR is a European infrastructure for bioinformatics (www.elixir-europe.org) with 21 member countries. In addition, the EMBL is a member. The Norwegian Node – ELIXIR Norway – is lead from the University of Bergen and is funded by the Research Council of Norway and the five partner institutions (University of Bergen, University of Oslo, Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU, University of Tromsø and Norwegian University of Life Sciences – NMBU). ELIXIR provides services within bioinformatics to users all over the world. The Norwegian Node is responsible for some of these services and offers also a broader spectrum of services towards Norwegian users (see www.elixir-norway.org/ and www.bioinfo.no/)

Administrative coordinator (senior advisor)
We now call for applicants to a newly established coordinator position at the University of Bergen. The position is permanent, funded by external activity, and is placed at the Department of Informatics within the Computational Biology Unit (CBU) – a centre hosted by the Department of Informatics (www.cbu.uib.no). The coordinator will report to the head of CBU and the head of ELIXIR Norway (currently the same person). Some travelling will be required.
