Our group is placed within the Unit of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at
the Department of Medicine, Huddinge (MedH), Karolinska Institutet
and focuses on precision medicine approaches for liver and biliary
diseases, particularly primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and biliary
tract cancers (BTC).


We combine clinical cohorts, imaging, omics, and artificial intelligence to
improve risk prediction, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes in these
diseases.

The PhD student will join an interdisciplinary environment of clinicians,
bioinformaticians, and immunologists, working at the interface of
hepatology and data science.
