Insights from one of the biggest networks on gender issues in the physics community

The GENERA Network is a self-organized, pan-European collaboration out of physics research organizations joining forces on gender equality and diversity.

The GENERA Network was established as a follow up from the EU-funded Project GENERA (2015 – 2018) in which 11 physics research institutions formed a consortium to design, implement and monitor together gender equality plans (GEP) and gender equality measures. GENERA Network is one of the seven Communities of Practice that are supported by the EU-Project ACT-on-Gender.

This talk will give a brief history about the network, its current activities and why it is exciting for you as an institution to join and get engaged.
