[Drand] Invitation: PhD council autumn meeting

Dear PhD students at Fysikum,

The annual PhD council autumn meeting will be held on Wednesday 24 November at 15.00-17.00 in room FB53 at Albanova. Fika will be provided at the meeting during the break, and afterwards we will have pizza and refreshments (no alcohol)! For those of you who want an alcoholic drink at the end, some of us are planing to go to a pub (outside university) for an after work. Feel free to join!

At the autumn meeting, we elect a representative and a secondary for the Science Faculty Council (Naturvetenskapliga fakultetsrådet, NFR). The PhD council also nominates for a number of positions at faculty and section level. The election is then done at the NFR meeting on November 29. For both the positions at the faculty level and at the section level it is important to notice that the candidates do not only represent the PhD students at Fysikum, and hence any elected candidate will be expected to report to all relevant councils. Information about NFR and the boards for which we nominate representatives can be found at https://www.sus.su.se/fakultetsrad/nfr.

Please find attached the preliminary agenda for the meeting, the last meeting's minutes, a list of the positions for elections and nominations, as well as the NFR list of representatives, which gives more information on each position open for election and nomination.

Also, please let me know if you want to add anything to the agenda. If you cannot attend the meeting but have an issue you want the council to discuss you can send me an email.
