Hello all. 

The introduction of the digital tool for the individual study-plan undoubtedly has introduced some extra work, one could therefore expect that the usual "bump" of individual study-plans in December should shift a wee bit this year.

But we are now well into February and the number of students lacking a valid updated study-plan is astronomical!
I should not need to remind you that we are obliged by the regulations to ensure that every PhD student has an individual study-plan which has been revised no more than twelve months ago, so the current situation is completely unacceptable, and might led us into a very difficult situation.

I must therefore urge you to immediately take the necessary steps to finalize this exercise. As noted in the accompanying email when we launched the digital ISP you should be careful to communicate between yourselves (student, supervisors, mentor) when you reach the sign-off stage, such that corrections of small typos don't lead to the process of signing off has to be started from scratch.

You (both students and supervisors) should be able to see the status of the ISP by just logging in to the system. Do that! And if it is not signed off within the last twelve months take action! Now!

If an ISP gets stalled and you cannot figure out why then get in touch.
