The University of the Arctic (UArctic) is a network of universities, colleges, research institutes, and other organizations concerned with education and research in and about the North. UArctic builds and strengthens collective resources and infrastructures that enable member institutions to better serve their constituents and their regions.


SU can therefore nominate student representatives to the Uarctic board and in June a new student representative is going to be elected.

If you are interested in nominating yourself you can e-mail Johanna Wiklund, johanna.wiklund at su.se<mailto:johanna.wiklund at su.se>, so that she then can send your nomination to UArctic.

The nomination needs to include:

a) Your full name, gender, nationality and cultural background;

b) Your e-mail address and phone number;

c) a written statement of interest [a brief of approximately 200-300 words]

Johanna will send in the nominations on the 31st of March, So I recommend you to send your nominations to her some days before that.

I will attach the document sent out by UArctic to the universities where you can find some more information.

It would be great if you could spread this information to students that you think might be interested.
