This is a kind reminder that there will be seminar today by Lotta Snickare, KTH, on the topic of gender inequality in STEM faculties.

Date and time: Monday 11th of March, 13.00
Location: Lecture room 27, Building 4 (Albano)
Probably the easiest route is down the outer stairs next to Pressbyrån and then the entrance to the right.

Gender Equality in STEM Faculties - from Knowledge to Change

Abstract Is the cause of the gender imbalance in STEM faculties gender inequality? If so, what can be done to increase gender equality? In the lecture, Lotta Snickare presents results from two research projects at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Oslo. The studies, which are based on extensive quantitative and qualitative material, not only investigate the gender equality situation at the faculty, but also discuss the causes of inequality and analysis the effects of various measures to promote equality.
