Call for Post-doctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics

Mustjoki lab (www.helsinki.fi/hematology<http://www.helsinki.fi/hematology>) at the University of Helsinki and Helsinki University Comprehensive Cancer Center has an opening for a (postdoc) researcher in computational cancer and autoimmunity research. The new researcher will play a critical role in the computational analysis and statistical modelling of large-size WES, WGS, lncRNA-seq, and scRNA-seq datasets and integration of these data with clinical information. Research results of the group are mostly published in precious journals (please see the latest listing at https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=mustjoki&sort=date ).

We require fluency with Python, Perl, R or equivalent in a UNIX environment. Experience in biostatistics and machine-learning as well as understanding on and/or demonstrated ability to process genomics data is desired. Strong publication record is an advantage. Applications for this position will be accepted until the position is filled. Salary will depend upon the applicant's level of skills, knowledge, and abilities and is based on university salary system.
