[SocBiN] Data steward and data engineer positions at Uppsala University (deadline Oct 30)

Dear all,

Data Driven Life Science, a 300 M€ project funded by the KAW foundation, is funding two permanent positions at Uppsala University in the Data Science Node for Evolution and Biodiversity. One Data Steward position and one Data Engineer position. See here for more details and how to apply:

Note that the data steward position is labelled as ”Bioinformatician” for practical reasons as the position of Data Steward does not formally exist at Uppsala University. Some command line experience is needed, but longer experience as a bioinformatician is not. The focus is data management, not bioinformatics.

Both of the positions are managed by SciLifeLab Data Centre, a central unit at SciLifeLab which develops and maintains services for the Swedish research community (among other things, see here for more information: https://www.scilifelab.se/data)

Please note that the deadline is very soon for both positions, Oct 30, and that we only accept applications through the Uppsala University application system.
