Using visualisation to express your scientific ideas well" 25 April - 11 May


This course is intended to deepen participants' understanding of the value of visualizing their research. Students will gain insight into different requirements for different audiences and purposes, e.g., scientists, public/popular science, articles, posters, oral presentations, web based communication. Students will explore these issues through assignments in which they develop skills to be able to be able to visualize (social-ecological) information and complicated relationships. Upon completion of the course, student should have created a concrete visual to use in own work. Further, they will have gained the capacity to critically review their own and others' visualizations.

The course is in cooperation between Bolin Centre and Stockholm Resilience Centre
