Dear ECRA fellows,

For your interest please note the conference announcement below.

----

Dear colleague,

We would like to advertise our forthcoming conference on *Climate
Econometrics at Oxford University from 4-5th September 2017*.

Econometrics is a branch of economics that has traditionally applied
statistical methods to explore empirical relations in economic data.
Climate econometrics has emerged as a field tackling climate problems
using econometric methods: from analyzing climate observations and model
output, to empirically estimating the impacts of climate variables onto
socio-economic outcomes (and visa-versa).

The conveners welcome members of the wider scientific community to
broaden the scope of Climate econometrics and as such welcome abstracts
for delegates wishing to present posters - these can be on topics in any
areas of climate using a variety of modelling and statistical methods
(it doesn't have to be econometrics).

There is no registration fee for the meeting, and further details can be
found on our website: http://www.climateeconometrics.org/conference2017/

If you have any questions please email Luke
Jackson_[luke.jackson at economics.ox.ac.uk]._
Otherwise send abstracts to Felix Pretis _[felix.pretis at nuffield.ox.ac.uk]._

Regards,

Luke Jackson and Felix Pretis
