Denna information om en enkät kan spridas vidare inom organisationen. 
Enkäten är anonym och de tretton frågorna går att besvara på cirka 10 
minuter. Vi är tacksamma för hjälpen att distribuera denna till 
relevanta personer. Det möjliggör för oss att få mer information kring 
hanteringen av forskningsdata, samt de eventuella problem man som 
forskare kan uppleva.

Att spara och tillgängliggöra data har blivit alltmer betydelsefullt 
inom alla forskningsområden i samband med övergången till öppen 
vetenskap inom EU och även i andra länder. Vetenskapliga tidskrifter och 
finansiärer kräver allt oftare att vi inte bara ska spara vår data utan 
även göra dessa tillgängligt för den fortsatta forskningen. En av 
huvudaktörerna inom denna omställning i vårt land är Svensk nationell

Denna enkät genomförs av den Domänspecialistfunktionen vid SND som har 
rumsliga data som sitt ansvarsområde. Domänspecialisternas roll är att 
stötta både forskare och forskningsdatafunktioner vid lärosätena i 
frågor gällande forskningsdata och öppen tillgång.

Enkäten syftar till att få en bild av hur forskare på svenska lärosäten 
ser på datahantering och tillgängliggörande av rumsliga data inom olika 
ämnesområden. Med rumsliga data avser vi här lägesbunden digital 
information. Det kan vara i huvudsak attributdata eller GIS-data i 
vektor- eller rasterformat.

This information about a survey can be spread within your organization. 
The survey is anonymous and the thrirteen questions can be answered in 
about 10 minutes. We are grateful for your help with spreading the 
information to relevant persons. It makes it possible for us to get more 
information about the managment of research data and the eventual 
difficulties that one as a scientist can experience.

Preserving and making available data has become increasingly important 
in all research areas in connection with the transition to Open science 
within the EU and in other countries. Scientific journals and funding 
agencies are increasingly demanding that we not only save our data but 
also make it available for future research. One of the main actors in 
this process in our country is the Swedish National Data service (SND).

This survey is carried out by the Domain Specialist function at SND, 
which has spatial data as its area of responsibility. The role of the 
domain specialists is to support both researchers and research data 
functions at the higher education institutions in questions regarding 
research data and open access.

The survey aims to get a picture of how researchers at Swedish 
universities percieve data management and access to spatial data in 
different academic disciplines. By spatial data we mean here 
location-based digital information. It can be mainly attribute data or 
GIS data in vector or raster format.
