Hi all PhD students!
In the beginning of June we had the PhD council meeting, which a lot of
you attended! In the meeting the director of PhD studies, Fysikshow and
the PhD council informed us about their activities the last year. Also a
new PhD council board was elected for the coming year. The new board
members can be found in this email. The elected representatives for the
Fysikum committees and more details about the meeting can be found in
the attached minutes.
The PhD council board discusses all issues relevant to PhD students. So
if you run into any *problems* at Fysikum, have *ideas* about things
that could be improved or any other *thoughts*, *we encourage you to
contact any of the council board members*. Of course, you can also
always contact us if you have any other questions by sending an email to
phdcouncil at fysik.su.se, to the chair (ellen.riefel at fysik.su.se),
vice-chair (gandharva.appagere at fysik.su.se). There is also an Athena
page with general information and announcements called 'PhD council at
fysikum - VT23' in which you should be enrolled.
