Up to a value of c. 830 I still get the same message ie attempting to 
divide by zero. After that (850 upwards) I get a different message at an 
earlier stage, just after it has output "start init fastGEM 
BirthDeathProbs" and "end init fastGEM BirthDeathProbs" which is 
"Exception std::bad_alloc".
