Dear colleagues,
My apologies for possible multiple copies of this announcement!

*SBC-WCN workshop on protein structure/function prediction and
comparative genomics *
at Stockholm Bioinformatics Center, May 28-29 2005

Genome sequencing has made it possible to study genome evolution and to
identify protein coding regions in completely new ways, and underpins
novel approaches to protein structure and function prediction. This
workshop will bring together researchers in comparative genomics and
protein structure/function prediction. It will be of immediate interest
to the Bioinformatics platform in WCN (Wallenberg Consortium North), but
also to many other participants in the WCN network.

/Please reply to me, Lars Arvestad <arve at nada.kth.se>, if you want to
participate. This will help us organize the workshop. Please also
distribute this message to anyone you think might be interested in
attending. //There is no attendance fee./

A program for the workshop is found at
    http://www.sbc.su.se/seminars/sbc_wcn_05
and will be filled in with titles and abstracts as they arrive.
