Dear friends,

Next year our lab (lgm.upmc.fr) will offer a staff-scientist position
in bioinformatics / computational biology. The position ("ingenieur de
recherche") is permanent, has lots of time for research (embedded into
one of the research groups existing in the lab, see the lab page), the
only constraint is that the person takes care of the administration of
the local computer cluster.

We are looking for motivated candidates with a PhD in bioinformatics,
computer science, physics, mathematics or related fields, and some
experience with computer clusters. The person should have a good
theoretical background in at least one of the fields, and a general
interest in biology (no strong prior experience in biology is
required). The candidate should be open to collaborations inside the
lab, both with theoreticians and experimentalists.
