[SocBiN] SocBiN Bioinformatics 2014 - Deadline April 1

We are proud to announce the 14th SocBiN (Society for Bioinformatics in 
Northern Europe) annual conference in bioinformatics, to be held June 
11-13 in Oslo, Norway. The conference in 2014 is organized by the 
Norwegian Bioinformatics Platform/ELIXIR Norway.

The programme includes 18 plenary lectures/keynotes given by 
distinguished international scientists covering a diverse range of 
topics, including Comparative genomics and phylogeny, Metagenomics, 
Post-ENCODE bioinformatics, Gene regulation, Marine genomics, and Tools 
and technologies for integrative bioinformatics.

Keynotes include:
Eugene V. Koonin (NCBI, Bethesda, USA)
Frank Oliver Glöckner (MPI for Marine Microbiology, Bremen, Germany)
Jun Liu (Harvard University, USA)
Gary Stormo (Washington University, St Louis, USA)
Steve Pettifer (University of Manchester, UK)

There will also be approximately 20 oral presentations selected from 
submitted abstracts, as well as poster sessions.
